Carved from opalite, these unique pendants are drilled horizontally through the ears, making them perfect for pendants and beaded projects. They have back onyx eyes, some may feature banding. Some pieces have flat backs similar to a cabochon while others are rounded. The drilled holes are roughly 2-2.5mm wide. Each pendant is roughly 44-46mm tall.
Often misrepresented as natural opal and moonstone, opalite is actually a man-made opalescent glass with various opal simulants. It has a milky appearance that can appear blue, orange, and pink in different lighting at various angles.
