Shipping and Handling
*For potential delays, please check the banner at the top of the website prior to ordering. The owner of this business needs frequent surgical intervention for a chronic illness and may be out of the office at the time of your purchase. Thank you for your understanding!
We work hard to ensure that all orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. While we strive to fulfill orders same to next day, it's not always possible. If an emergency were to arise that would delay packages, such as a medical emergency, I will post notices on our Facebook page, group, and to the website.
- We use USPS for 99% of orders, though we may use alternate shipping methods for larger, heavier orders. Most packages ship via Ground Advantage or Priority. Package type is determined by the size and weight of your order, though you can also upgrade at check out.
- All orders come with $100 of insurance. If you need more insurance to cover your purchase, kindly send us a message before ordering. We are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, or arrive damaged. If an item in your order arrives damaged, please visit the USPS website to file a claim. You will need your tracking number, proof of purchase, as well as photos of your package and damaged items.
- If you place multiple orders that will be combined & shipped together, we will use whatever shipping method is best for your order. I may upgrade to Priority if you have a large order or delicate items so we can ensure that they arrive safely.
- Please note that for the safety of your package, all orders of $250+ or orders that have paid for express shipping methods will require signature confirmation. If you would like to waive the signature confirmation, please email us prior to placing your order as as soon after as you can. Thank you for your understanding.
- If you need your order urgently, please select Priority (usually 1-3 business days) or Priority Express (usually 1 business day). Please make sure to send us an email (mycrystalgrove@gmail.com) if you need your order shipped urgently. Otherwise orders will be shipped during our normal hours in the order they are received.
- When purchasing an item that is being shipped from another country, your package will be sent to a place known as Customs. Customs is the official department that administers and collects the duties levied by a government on imported goods. Customs has the right, by law, to open and search packages, hold packages, and charge import fees at their lenience.
- Please be aware than many countries charge import fees and taxes. We are NOT responsible for any Customs fees, import charges, taxes or any other additional shipping fees. Please look into your countries taxes and import fees before purchasing. If you refuse to pay your fees once your items come in, your post office will return the package. You will have to pay shipping again to resend your package.
- Please note that we must declare your order value and mark it as a purchased item when we print your shipping label. IT IS ILLEGAL to mark your package as a gift if you paid money for it or to declare a lower value than you paid. We are not liable for those who use other workaround methods of avoiding duties and fees.
Packaging
- Ground Advantage orders are shipped in padded bubble mailers or small cardboard boxes. Priority orders will be shipped in either a flat rate envelope with padding or a flat rate box. Which depends on your order size, weight, and what you choose at checkout.
- We do my best to try to reduce waste by re-using shipping items such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and bags. Often times we will use plastic grocery bags, newspaper, packing paper, or bubble wrap as soft fillers for boxed priority orders as they keep the items well protected during transit.
- To save paper and reduce waste, we no longer include packing slips. If you need a printed copy of your order, simply go to your account, view your order, and print a copy. You can also access your order through the confirmation email you received after checking out where your order will be shown itemized with prices. Private listings are the only items not itemized. These listings are archived bi-weekly to keep the website clear, so please take screenshots if needed at the time of purchase. Thank you.
