Carved from natural Mookaite Jasper, these unique pendants are drilled horizontally through the ears, making them perfect for pendants and beaded projects. They have back onyx eyes, some may feature banding. Some pieces have flat backs similar to a cabochon while others are rounded. The drilled holes are roughly 2-2.5mm wide. Each pendant is roughly 44-46mm tall. Due to the nature of mookaite, you may find some minor pitting.
Mookaite, also known as Mookaite Jasper, is only found in Western Australia in the Kennedy Ranges near Mooka Creek, which the stone is named after. It comes in a wide variety of colors, including red, burgundy, mustard-yellow, cream, white, brown, mauve and purple
